We’ll Place Priority On Education -Tinubu Affirms, As APC Holds Presidential Rally In Abia

Ahead of the February 2023 polls, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC),Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has told Nigerians that the education sector will be prioritized, when he wins, affirming that no Nigerian student would go through a four-year course for eight years.
Addressing the crowd of APC supporters at the Umuahia Township stadium, Tinubu disclosed that he would invest heavily in the education sector, since education is the bedrock of any society, adding that other sectors of the nation, would receive a positive boost.
Tinubu who stormed Abia in company of the Governor of Imo State, Chief Hope Uzodinma and other top government functionaries, including the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Dimeji Bankole, said his government is bringing renewed hope to Nigerians,as well as, ending the frustrations among youths through job creation.
According to him, Nigerians should vote the Broom symbol across board, calling on Ndigbo to vote APC so that they would be integrated into the power arrangement of the country.
He called on the former Minister for State, Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uche Ogah, to sheath all court cases against High Chief Ikechi Emenike and come home so they can discuss.
Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu, further commended the leaders of the APC in Abia for the warm reception accorded him, while sued for peace among aggrieved members of the party.
In his goodwill message, the Imo state Governor, Chief Hope Uzodinma, harped on the need for members of the party in Abia to come together and reconcile their differences, as it is only through unity they can achieve their goal.
In his speech, the Abia APC Governorship candidate, High Chief Ikechi Emenike, called on Abia electorates to use their PVCs wisely, to enthrone positive leaders, stressing that unemployment, delay in the payment of workers’ salaries, would be addressed adequately when he comes on board.
Also the member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal constituency, Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, poured out her displeasure over the anti-party activities of some members, alleging that the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, is sponsoring four candidates from other political parties against her.
She vowed never to relinquish her fifth term ambition,as she described herself as best for the job, going by her achievements that are people centric.
Onyejeocha, however, praised the qualities of the APC Presidential candidate, saying she trust his ability and capacity to deliver Nigeria.
Earlier, the APC Chairman in Abia State, Hon Kingsley Ononogbu, begged the people of the South East not to repeat the mistake of the past by playing regional politics, urging them to vote APC come February 25th, maintaining that, that is the only guarantee to make demands from the government.
He, however, eulogized the developmental strides of the APC government in the South East, with the Second Niger Bridge, the Enugu -Portharcourt Expressway, the Alaorji Power plant among other projects, receiving massive attention from the President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration.
Hon Etonyaku Valentine, Obingwa East Candidate
In an interview with newsmen, the candidate for Obingwa East State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon Etonyaku Valentine, promised to give the best to his constituency when he wins, while praying for the victory of the Presidential candidate and other APC candidates.
