NOA Visits Abia State Tourism Board, As Queen Atuloma Reveals Good Status Of Board

In positive step to strengthen the relationship existing between the National Orientation Agency, NOA and Abia State Tourism Board, the State Director of NOA Dr. Lady Ngozi Okechukwu and Abia State NOA management staff, today paid a courtesy visit to the tourism board.

Speaking during the visit in Umuahia, Dr. Okechukwu recalled the relationship that had existed between Abia NOA and the board which has lasted for a period of seven years (since 2016) and pointed out that NOA through its roles in the society, has a lot of things on common with tourism.

Dr. Lady Okechukwu who also reassured the board of partnership, further assured that NOA through its mechanisms would promote showcase to Abians and Nigerians the benefits of tourism.

Dr. Ngozi Okechukwu congratulated the General Manager of Abia State Tourism Board, Queen Onyekachi Atuloma on her appointment and applauded her and passion to take tourism to limelights.


Responding, the General Manager of Abia State Tourism Board, Queen Onyekachi Atuloma said she assumed duty as the State Tourism boss with a mandate to promote the gain in tourism in Abia State.

She informed that her team has religiously followed that mandate and the cheering news is that “Abia State Tourism Board is back and strong”.

“The mandate given to us by our dear Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu is to promote tourism in Abia State and we are seriously working towards that. Also very soon the state tourism board will start their own bottle water”.

She described the Abia State National Orientation Agency as one of the best in the country which Abia State Tourism Board would gladly collaborate with.

Queen Atuloma expressed profound gratitude for their coming and commended the Abia NOA State Director for her doggedness in promoting the agency.
